Do any of you know details on Todd Snider's death?

Do any of you understand what happened to the singer/songwriter? I am asking here because it seems news reporters don't even get the basics any more.

In my understanding, these are the events leading up to his demise.

1. He was admitted to a hospital hours before one of his concerts was to begin, due to a physical assault on him. (The media is now referring to it as an alleged assault.)

2. After a brief stay in the hospital, the staff told him it was time for him to leave.

3. Snider argued he was not healthy enough to leave the hospital, to the point he became combative and the police were called.

4. Snider was arrested, charged, and released on his own recognizance.

5. Days later, Snider died, apparently from pneumonia and sepsis.

So this leads to my confusion as to why people aren't raising hell over the hospital booting him out. Obviously, he could afford to pay his bill.

Even if he was having a mental episode or being obnoxious, hospitals are forced to deal with that crap all the time. Anybody else wondering about this?

And, yes, I am resorting to looking for facts on a strip club discussion board because I believe that is a more reliable source than most of the internet.
