Rosarito Recommendations

Rosarito Beach Hotel is nice. Rode horses on the beach, but the animals were pitiful and we smelled after. Rode ATVs on the beach. Limited to a track area. ATF1 loved it. It was fun, but got boring for me pretty quickly.

Stumbled upon a few free shows while walking on the beach, such as native music and dance.

Took a former ATF there. She knew a mesero at one of the beer stands and we logged a few hours soaking up suds, listening to music, and fending off vendors.

There is a good steak house on the main street, a short walk from the hotel. Cannot remember the name, but if you walk out to the boulevard and turn left, it is about two blocks down and the only steak house in the area. Little waterfall inside.

We made rounds to the clubs, but were unimpressed. They are open only Thursday through Sunday.

Puerto Nuevo is a good place to visit and has some decent seafood restaurants, my personal favorite has always been Numero Uno/Puerto Nuevo #1 restaurant located right after the entrance sign. They offer some mouthwatering seafood/lobsters and hand made flour/corn tortillas. This restaurant has been around for decades and very popular as well, and I was introduced to it by a very good friend/wingman from Sinaloa.I haven’t been to this restaurant recently but numerous times in the past and it still holds the same good standard in food👌🏻Also, Calafia Hotel Rosarito is an excellent place to pay a visit for either staying over or simply checking out their restaurant with breathtaking ocean views👍🏻
