But I’ve gotta disagree regarding the goldfish thing. We tried to recruit the most badass goldfish in the world to be on the council of ricks. But the lil’ guy kept jumping into our Jack and just swimmin’ around in there. I don’t know if you know this, but fish can’t actually live in Jack. So we’d rescue the lil’ guy and less than 30 seconds later he’d be right back in there.
Of course, it is possible that the Jack affected his memory. ROAR!!!

White Sands has a long history, dating back over 10,000 years, beginning with indigenous peoples hunting megafauna, and evolving through Spanish exploration, ranching, and military use, culminating in its redesignation as a national park in 2019. The unique landscape of White Sands National Park was formed from the gypsum-rich remnants of Lake Otero, which dried up about 10,000 years ago, and was shaped by wind and erosion over thousands of years.

Geological formation: The white, gypsum-based sand dunes are the result of a long geological process: An ancient sea covered the area about 280 million years ago. As the sea evaporated, it left behind layers of gypsum on the seabed. Tectonic activity created the Tularosa Basin, which acted as a closed basin with no outlet for water. As rivers flowed in, a large lake called Lake Otero formed, holding the gypsum. After the last ice age ended about 10,000 years ago, the lake dried up, leaving behind billions of tons of gypsum crystals. Regional winds then pulverized these crystals into sand, creating the dunes seen today.
