That 90's club discussion got me thinking about an old 2000's docuseries I used to watch on HBO called G-String Divas. It takes place at "International Gentleman's Club" in Bristol, PA. Each of its 13 episodes highlights one of the dancers working there and her experiences. They even go as far as to film actual lap dances.
Unfortunately HBO Max pretty much ignores its racy past shows like Real Sex and Taxicab Confessions and G-String is no exception. No DVD, no streaming, no nothin'.
But today I was happy to find it's been uploaded in its entirety on Archive dot org: archive.org
I watched this before I'd ever even stepped foot in a club. I'd fire up the VCR and record it for later enjoyment. I remember Jordan's episode the most. It still cracks me up about how grossed out she is after she made a guy LDK 😂
