The older I get, the more I understand that it's okay to live a life others don'

I have always thought people should be allowed to do what they want as long as what they want is not actively harming others. This means you can't engage in something like murder, rape or robbery but something like using drugs, drinking alcohol, gambling or buying sex should be allowable.

But in the modern world you have social politics and all these different groups who feel they are owed money or shelter or college tuition or something else by other groups. And they will use whatever means they can to get it, either via government taxation and redistribution or just straight up stealing or attacking.
How murder and robbery and rape are defined also varies among different groups. For instance many believe you can attack someone in response to verbal insults, and if they fight back, attack them further.

Some people dont consider it theft if you steal in response to government or police first doing something potentially immoral like theft, murder.

Theres also differences on consent. Some believe it can be withdrawn later on even if it was given initially. Or, if someone was intimidated or pressured or nagged into an act, that the consent wasnt there.

The older I get the less I give a fuck what you do, I don’t need to understand shit, so long as you stay in your own lane, and leave me the fuck alone!
