HK on Saturday

Will be in San Diego from Saturday thru Friday but without a lot of time to spend in TJ. Was thinking of going to HK Saturday afternoon then returning to SD in the evening. Also may have the chance to visit HK during the day Monday/Tuesday.

Given that Friday and Saturday nights are busy in HK, what is Saturday afternoon like? I have to think it is still worth the time to experience it.

there's no really bad time to visit Hong Kong bar. even the late mornings and the afternoons are decent whereas Friday and Saturday nights is more crowded.
.
I suggest getting a VIP card at Hong Kong if you're going to visit more than a few times in a 3-month period. hotel discounts, food discounts, free drinks and even a big discount on a 5 minute lap dance.
.
depending on the exchange rates. you might do better on some things by paying with pesos but if you don't they do take dollars willingly...

I think Saturday afternoon or evening is a great time to visit HK, probably my favorite time to visit. In my experience, as the evening approaches more and more chicas will start showing up for the night shift and there will be a very high chica-to-monger ratio that will go down as the evening progresses and more sausage shows up from SoCal.
.
Keep in mind, chicas have to work 9 hour shifts instead of 8 on Saturday (and I think Friday too?) So there are a lot that get there early to mid-afternoon!

Re: Pesos/Dollars, the HK exchange rate last I was there was 18:1, so maybe a few pesos less than what you might get at an exchange shop in San Ysdrio. BUT, you'd be tipping in pesos, so you'd likely be handing out a lot of $20 Peso bills, which are slightly more expensive than a dollar, so honestly, I think any money you'd save by using pesos would be wash after all the single tips you might throw out.

US dollars are the better deal for tipping as long as the exchange rate is below 20 peso for a US dollar.

Well I didn’t make it Saturday but decided last night (Sunday) that I needed to go or risk not getting there at all. Drove to the border around 9:30pm - parked and walked over to Mexico via Ped East. Easy enough although walking for the first time after dark was an experience. Fought off the cab drivers hawking for business and found the Zona Shuttle. I was in the club in a few minutes. For anyone asking “is Sunday night worth it”, let me tell you 100% yes. If this is what it looks like on a slow night I can’t imagine a Friday. Every table taken but gorgeous women everywhere. I walked the club with a beer checking out the scene and found the nicest ass in the club dancing on one of the middle stages. I got her attention with a nice tip and asked her to have a drink with me. A mesero chases a few gals away from a table so we could sit down. Her name was Nina and I think she was the prettiest in the club. Tremendous ass, abs, and a perfectly installed set of bolt ons. We sat and talked over a few drinks and then we headed to Ariba. 45 minutes later I walked be back to the club and headed out to catch the shuttle. Dropped at the border and at 1am on a Monday morning, there obviously was no line so I walked right thru. Was back in my hotel room by about 1:30pm and got rested up for the work today. Would love to go back but I do not want to wait in line for what could be hours to get back to the US.

If you haven’t gone and always wanted, make sure you find a way to go. An experience not to be missed!
