Portugal is cool

Check it out some time. The language barrier is real but half the people I met spoke English and almost everyone can speak some basic Spanish. Prostitution is legal but I didn’t see any streetwalkers anywhere. Every stripper I asked was down for otc, just needed scheduling.
The only downside to my trip is that the dollar took a crap against the euro between booking my trip and actually arriving. But hey, we’re winning the trade war we started. Right? Right? We showed them. Tanked the stock market and our own currency. And now all of Europe will buy imported F-150s and we will all be living like Ward Cleaver again. American egg farmers are also still getting theirs! Those cheap euro trash eggs I saw must only be half as good because they are half the price!

I'd like to go there and Spain someday. Did you have some good longanisa? (LOL no homo.)

I had some fun in Portugal, Porto. I had read and confirmed that everything was legal there, but the prostitute thing still seemed too hush hush and sketch for me to bother. I didn't bother to figure out specific streets at that point.
The strippers were accommodating, I was just getting my feet wet at the time out of curiosity because a girl I was seeing was talking about it a lot.
OTC wasn't necessary for anything I became interested in.

More content in the second paragraph of the OP than the first. Judging by that, this should have been posted in the politics forum.
BTW, since you are so apparently ignorant of the facts, I will enlighten you. The dollar has almost never enjoyed 1:1 parity against the Euro, nor is this any actual indication of the dollar's buying power. During Obama's term, the Euro traded as high as $1.50 and as high as $1.22 during Biden's term. Class dismissed.

You have to be a special ....... To turn every thread on a strip club forum into a maga rant.
Anyways. Prostitution there is sketchy coz they dont arrest the sex worker. Everything else about it can be prosecuted

The concept of pursuing only the customer.. didnt it have a term called the nordic model or something like that. The same thing i think is done in canada, and places like sweden… I agree that when you bias the laws in that way it creates a scenario where scamming becomes even more common than the more neutral laws we have in the US

@icey. Why do you (and others) do this. You’ve never been there and you know nothing about the subject.
You sound like that clown from a couple of weeks ago saying that Vietnam was better than Thailand for mongering and then when asked specifically where, he replied Hanoi. I’m no great fan of Thailand but Vietnam is not a mongering destination. And for any kind of mongering in Vietnam the place is Bui Vien Walking Street in Saigon (Ho Chi Mihn City). Not Hanoi. It’s obvious the pretender has never been there and the same goes for you.
Have I been to Portugal? Many times, including the Algarve, Porto, the Azores, and an extended stay in Lisbon. Though I never explored the “trade” there, I suspect it is much like Spain (which I do know about) with mostly imported talent bordering on human trafficking. But I don’t really know because I have no first hand experience or knowledge.
What I do know is that you, and your fellow pretenders, don’t know shit about shit. You, and others, diminish the value of the board when you post nonsense just to play make-believe, all knowing worldly pimp.
Why not just stick to your trolling and spamming the board.

Babydoc. I dont have experience being a sex tourist. Youre right. I do know about EU laws and sex trafficking there.
What I said is right. Women can sell sex. Its seen as a social problem rather than a criminal one. Procuring and soliciting is criminal though.

Some a layover in Lisbon overnight didn’t see much. Morocco is really where you want to go if you return to Portugal. Nice little ferry ride and as long as you travel with others it is safe.

Yeah got carried away on the rant. Apologies. I only did a little research but it appears they will prosecute pimps and brothels but it is not illegal to sell or pay for sex individual to individual.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Portugal. If you don’t know Portuguese you’ll do better to speak English than Spanish. People there are typically a bit better in English and it’s considered a bit rude (I’ve learned) to assume they speak Spanish - it’s not that similar surprisingly.
No street walkers across Portugal except for maybe one part of town on the coastline (can’t recall the name) in Lisbon which I’ve never been to.
