Back in the day, even shitty little rural clubs would get well known pornstars running the feature dancer tour. Nowdays, I just don’t see anything about that at all anymore. Are feature dancers a thing anymore? And if so, where does one find schedules and such?

Oh how the regular dancers often hated porn star feature nights. It would bring bigger crowds in but those were a different type of PL. They were there to get an autograph and a Polaroid and often didn’t spend any money in the club. I think most of those guys had their mom waiting in the parking lot to drive them home.
I can’t recall going to a club specifically to see a porn star but I’ve been there several times when one happened to be there.
OP is right, they used to show up at the smallest clubs in the middle of nowhere. Today it’s a rare occurrence unless it’s in a larger city. I’m guessing most porn stars are making their money on Only Fans pages eliminating the need to tour clubs so much.

They have them every other Friday/Saturday at Cheerleaders in Philadelphia. Once a month at the Club Risque chain, different Club each night.

The last time I saw a feature dancer was back in the 90's at the Goldrush in Atlanta. Chelsea Charms. It was more like a freak show.

They don’t advertise them as features, but occasionally Miami-based influencers will pull shifts at the local clubs. Back in March, Ashleigh Skies and Violet Brandani were dancing at Gold Rush in Miami. They were using different names, but Ashleigh’s tattoos are unmistakable.
Gold Club Centerfolds in Sacramento still has them.

Agree with iknowbetter. What is a pornstar these days? Reading through this thread, there's only one name I recognize, and that's Jenna Jameson. I watch a fair amount of porn, but it seems the abundance of free digital content has caused one "star" to just blur together with all the others. I think Veronica Rodriguez is the last big star I could name, and she's been out of the biz for some time.

I think the feature dancing, especially at otherwise hole-in-the-wall clubs, was more common because the stars were better known and had longer careers. Nina Hartley, Victoria Paris, Hyapatia Lee, Amber Lynn, and the like. They were known even in mainstream circles.
Twenty years ago you could pay a silly amount to get a Polaroid with the feature dancer. I didn't know who she was. I think her name was Kelly. Hmm, at least twenty, maybe longer.
Hustler's in Washington Park does these about once a month. I've never seen what the big deal about them is. They don't look any better than the regular dancers. They don't do private dances. I'm assuming they don't do extras. What's the point?
Theres definitely some pornstars who have done the feature dances and also escorted on the side. I cant say whether they would do the ITC extras
