Baltimore's Millstream Inn

The Millstream Inn on the west side of Baltimore is my regular club in the area. Although I only stop in every few months, I have been doing so for over 20 years. Back before they even had lap dances in Baltimore County. And also before the major remodel that took it from a 1960's/70's basement rec room look to the traditional strip club decor that it has today. It's always been a friendly place with a relaxed vibe.
I'm getting a little rusty on the history though. Do any other old timers recall when the remodel was done? Or when the lap dances started?
I'd especially like to know when the club opened? I assume it was some sort of regular bar/restaurant before that... Does anyone recall those days?

last commentGod, I know I went there once, probably in early 1990's. I remember sort of a local watering hall / pool hall vibe with dancers there also.

Thanks, Flash. I recall somewhere that the club has been in operation for about 35 years. It did have a pool table and associated look when I first started going.
I think the place started as a regular bar by the grandfather and had been updated by subsequent generations.

started as a regular bar. I first went there in early 2000.s. When I first went to club it had no lap dances and a single low t shaped stage in the middle of the club. It had a pool table and pinball machines behind a knee wall near the existing entrance to kitchen. 1st lap dances given were in a cubby that backed up to exist DJ booth. The 1st renov put in the mini stage, and removed the low T shaped stage and replace it with the elevated one, Bar was extended towards the now kitchen door area and pool tables and pinball removed. Next reno opened up the area towards the rear and 2 (?) Pool tables added. Next renov added 2 lap dance benches on either side of new back area and pool tables removed. Next they put a bar in the back and shorted the dance benchs and curtained off the area for some privacy. Then came the 2 private rooms behind the lap dance area. Next came the 15 min rooms and the owners suite. Then the Cabana rooms were added just in front of the lap dance benches. Next came the small bar by the stairs for selling dances and the aerial silks. This all occurred from early 2000.s till when I left area in 2016. Went back 2 years ago and another private suit was added by bathrooms where open seating used to be. The back bar area many years ago was converted to a whiskey tasting bar that never did well. Club was pretty dead and back bar area empty. I was a regular there for much of that time and even had my own table. It was a fun time.. Till I discovered the Wagon Wheel / Players club..

I never really interacted much with Kathy, but she definitely was not shy. She might have been past 40 and still looked good. I recall hearing that she sadly passed away; that was probably 10+ years ago.
