I’m sure the cat is just testing whether you’re actually worth interacting with. Remember, house cats want to shit and a sandbox and have you clean it up. And they may eventually sit in your lap but they may decide to freak out and claw you in the face for shits and giggles. All that they ask is continued love and shit scooping after the claw to the face.
You know, this rick is kinda remembering why he likes the good ol’ Felis catus. I would only hang with one to hear the claw to ape face stories, but they’re still pretty cool. ROAR!!!
