Living well and enjoying my retirement
Fuck all of this political bullshit, the Super Bowl is upon us, these two teams are awesome. Philadelphia is a puncher Kansas City is the finesse team, most of the time if I were betting on the game I’d go with the puncher, but Kansas City can punch pretty good themselves. Finesse has been the Chiefs hallmark, but the Eagles are pretty slick themselves.
The Eagles are probably going to be slight underdogs, but how the heck can a team with all these weapons be an underdog, not to mention the Chiefs have their own big guns, this is going to be a great matchup.
Who are you going to pick, me I want to see Saquon Barkley win a championship just because his story is so compelling, but Threepeat is going to be a great legacy as well.
My logical prediction is Kansas City wins the title by less than a touchdown, but I’m going to put my bet on the Philadelphia Eagles, by nine points.
What do you guys think ?

I think Philly is going to get exposed, Philly is lucky the Lions ran out of defensive players. I think this is going to be the most one sided Super Bowls since Broncos - Seahawks and Philly is going to get washed.

Really tough to call this one at a neutral site. I love both these teams.
I'll probably flip-flop a few times, but right now, give me KC in a low-scoring affair.

Here's why:
1. KC has been there. Never discount that.
2. Mahomes is too resourceful; I got my dick burned betting against TB12 enough times, not going to keep betting against the generation's best.
3. Philly's O-line, particularly LG/C, might be too banged up to move the ball. Steve Spagnuolo is something else.
4. KC is more equipped for chunk plays, even with less receiving talent. Not that Philly is a slouch in that department, but I have much more confidence in KC to overcome a deficit than Philly. If KC gets ahead a couple scores, takes the ball out of Saquon's hands and forces Hurts to throw, I don't like Philly's chances.

Surest bet here is to take the under.

^ you’re right about KC’s been there before, but so has Philly, and since we’re talking about who’s been there before who’s improved the most since their last visit, me I’d say Philly Saquon is a hella improvement.

Amen!

What are you fixing for your Super Bowl party? I’ve got my mini hot dogs in cocktail sauce, air fryer chicken wings with special home made dipping sauce, and cheese fondue with chips and salsa. For the main course its toasted Ruben sandwiches with homemade bread topped with my own thousand island and authentic German sauerkraut.

Bippitty, boppitty, bacon!

^ this year I’m a guest at a friends superbowl party, so I’m not cooking, but I’ll be sure to bring either a good scotch or bourbon to celebrate.

I got burned BAD yesterday taking Washington and Buffalo. I like KC for the Superbowl, so take the opposite of what I recommend.

Like Puddy said, it was always a mistake betting against Brady. For the same reason, I think Mahomes gets to hoist the Lombardi trophy again.

The real question.
Will Philly fans cause more mayhem if they win, or if they lose?

I did great this year betting NFL. I wanted Bills (the shady +2 line for the Bills made me bet KC) and Eagles and Eagles to win. I like the Eagles but I need to see the line.

^ Last I saw it was 1.5. I'm not a gambler but I'd take the under on points.
This whole matchup screams field position battle.

I'm co-hosting a Superbowl party this year since my man is a big football fan so he's having friends and work pals over. I told him to tell them all to invite their wives, girlfriends, and side pieces. I can't wait to think of good appetizers and snacks. And our indoor pool is finally finished so anyone who gets drunk or high and wants to celebrate their team's victory can jump in, and conversely anyone who wants to kill themselves after their team loses can do the same.

Go Birds! Eagles look pretty great on both side of the ball.
Only reason not to like them is their fans.
