That includes Onlyfans, Porn sites and other sites that are deemed "non family values"

This includes sites for massages parlors, strip clubs like this one and escorts.

I'm not voting for Harris but I'm definitely not voting for a Trump who's guided by these Christian Pricks telling us how to live our lives not hurting anyone.

So sounds like we're up to two write-ins for nicespice.

Porn is not mentioned in Trump's Agenda 47, his official platform. Trump, Harris and the vast majority of politicians of both parties prefer to sidestep the issue of porn. They can, because court decisions have blocked outright bans of porn. But, if a law that's nominally against human trafficking, or requires age verification, is proposed, few if any politicians want to oppose it. Maybe we could hope, if the House Speaker or Senate Majority Leader were a Democrat, they'd be more likely to quietly shelve such proposed law.

It's a reasonable assumption that a Trump presidency will see a shift more in the family values direction, while a Harris presidency will see more acceptance of diversity.

I'm getting tired of the whole 2025 thing. It's a scare tactic, but it seems to fool a lot of people. The actual project 2025 is a white paper from a conservative think tank. It's no different from what pretty much everything tank on both sides does. It's a wishlist from that particular group and nothing else. Support or oppose Trump, the Project 2025 is just a scare tactic.

The couch fucking thing is entirely made up.

Project 2025 is a typical example of how the Trump-is-Hitler hysteria overshadows the more subtle dangers with him. Project 2025 is like Jeff Sessions and Steve Bannon. He listens to them, but he doesn't consider them irreplaceable. Trump wants the people he hires to be as willing to risk jail/impeachment as he is. He won't hire people who agree with Mike Pence's actions on Jan 6. Project 2025 has gotten a big head start finding him binders of such traitors. If Trump has to rely on their lists to find the traitors to staff his second term, that will give them a lot of pull with him. Any political opinions Trump has are relatively unimportant. He wants people who are loyal to him personally. He's incline to advance the political goals of those loyal to me, even if those goals are extreme.

We have democrats in Congress who support Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran, so there is nothing the republicans can do that would make me vote for the ugly traitors on the left.

If you go to large websites like Xhamster or Pornhub, depending on your state, they will block the porn. That said, there are still porn sites you can access and VPNs make the ENTIRE SYSTEM MOOT.

The main reason I don't like Trump is because of the Christian Fundamentalists.

The main reason I don't like Trump is because of the Christian Fundamentalists.

That in a nutshell is the problem with Project 2025. Yes it's true that it's not an official campaign document. Yes it's true that Trump has disavowed it. But fundamentally, at it's core, P2025 is a document written by the very same Christian Fundamentalists who will govern the country should Trump take office again.

The project had 40 different primary authors. 18 of them worked in the first Trump administration, 1 on his transition team, another 12 worked on his campaign.

Of the 267 additional contributors to P2025, 144 worked for the Trump administration. And all of the policies in it go hand in hand with Trump's rhetoric on the campaign trail. For example:

Ken Cuccinelli wrote the chapter on the Homeland Security Department. He served as acting deputy secretary of homeland security in the Trump administration and in another role led legal immigration efforts. In his chapter, Mr. Cuccinelli details aggressive immigration plans, including militarizing the Southern border and completing the border wall, the latter of which was a cornerstone of Mr. Trump’s first campaign. This election cycle, Mr. Trump has promised to lead the biggest deportation operation in American history and to use the military to secure the border.

Anyone who wants to pretend that Trump won't be putting millions in concentration camps will have no one to blame but themselves should Trump be elected.

If you vote for Trump, when you're CF cubana is disappeared into the night, there will blame but yourself.

Anyone who wants to pretend they aren't coming after your porn, well, you can blame yourself once you lose access.

I understand that sometimes it's a challenge to see what's in front of one's own nose, but the ignorance about the right-wings plan for a second Trump term at this point is inexcusable.

Leftists attack Trump for being a monger that sleeps with porn stars and Playboy models one minute. Then the next minute, they claim he is going to shut down strip clubs, massage parlors, and escorts.

In all honesty, if you want to see strip clubs get shut down, vote for socialist women because that is what history has shown us. I firsthand watched as Christina Fernandez de Kirchner shut down all of the strip clubs and privados in Argentina. In 2010, lesbian leftist Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir banned strip clubs in Iceland.

Many, maybe most, of the people who are voting for Trump expect a second Trump administration to be generally indistinguishable from the prepandemic part of his first administration. I hope to God they're right. Some chance they may be, because Trump doesn't actually care about political ideologies. We might see indictments sought against Biden, Harris and Clinton, but they'll probably be thrown out of court. Hopefully, a deal can be worked out where Ukraine becomes the new Finland. Otherwise, we may see a lot of new nuclear armed countries in Europe. Steve Bannon thought he was going to bend Trump over, but found out he was the bendee.

Terminal TDS. Concentration camps and nighttime "disappearings"? If you truly believe that, you should not be voting.

I think strip clubs in TX and FL are at big risk, not next year but eventually. People on this board are just choosing not to see it.

I’m sure both parties are working on a way to ban VPNs, but we’re not there yet, give it 5 years.

It's deep blue Chicago and NOLA that are restricting gentlemens clubs, not the red states. Wake up and smell what you're shovelling.

@TheOne&Only Depends what red state your talking about. Florida NO. Bible belt states like Alabama YES. So much for the freedom party.

Ultimately both sides of our fake and gay political spectrum hate this kind of stuff but for different reasons.

Republicans have to pander to the conservative Christians and maintain the appearance of "family values". Even though as soon as junior turns 18 they want to send him off to war in some god forsaken shithole.

The liberal party hates this stuff because they have to pander to strong empowered Wahmen and get their vote. Since seeing a man with a smile on his face drives feminists nuts its no wonder why strip clubs are an easy target. Also libs view an average hetero man throwing money at an attractive female some form of "inequality" or "gender imbalance" that the state must intervene in and rectify.

Beautiful women selling their time for the product of a mans hard work? Can't have that shit. The man better be jerking it to porn. And the Woman can't leverage her looks and charm for cold hard cash. She has to be tied down at some soul-sucking corporate job.

as much as i detest all leftists they are kinda correct about this point. someone i know who has firsthand witness accounts has seen him with pros head towards his nyc pad in that big ass building of his.

i'm still trying to recover from losing backpage because of this fuck. a sequel to what giuliani did to nyc in the late 90's, which i am still recovering from as well.

And if they don't enjoy your favorite cubana for the next 2 months, while she's still here.

Banning onlyfans and porn sites is going to help the p4p scene. That’s a huge segment of girls who would have to try to make it big on youtube/twitch, otherwise go into stripping/escorting

good shut down OF and they will finally return to the clubs for hot sexy fun time

One thing you got to love about our political system is that both sides of the aisle hate sex workers and those who patronize them but for different reasons.

The so-called conservatives hate it because of pandering to Christian’s and all the family values bullshit. Also they subscribe heavily to the narrative that every woman who uses her body is trafficked by some international criminal gang. LOL!

And on the other side of the aisle the progressives hate it for a multitude of reasons namely because they view it as some sort of power imbalance where the dirty evil men are exploiting hapless women. They need daddy government to step in and protect them. You see women are strong and independent except when it comes to this sort of stuff. In this case they are just helpless victims who have no control over themselves and their behavior.

Feminists want the governments laws off of their bodies except when it comes to women monetizing their youth and good looks instead of working some dull corporate job for shit pay.

Every now and than some progressive law maker tries drafts a bill to decriminalize or legalize sex work but it gains almost no traction with the Corporate Democratic Political Whores and gets absolutely ridiculed by Republicans who claim that the moral fabric of society will get fed into a wood chipper if a dude can pay a woman for a little companionship.

The level of danger in doing sex work is roughly the same as doing cocaine. I don't see much prospect of either being legal soon, in most of the US.

Even if it were legal in the US, it wouldn't be at the level it's at in Germany. Women from poorer countries in the EU can come to Germany and be sex workers. Only about 20% of licensed sex workers in Germany are German citizens.

@ilbbaicnl They legalized weed and some people were saying that the planet would split open and liquid magma and literal demons would come out from the gaping abyss and snatch everyone but none of that shit ever happened. Now companies are producing more legal weed than people can even consume. Have there been issues with legalizing weed? Absolutely. But the problems have not been near as big as what all the anti legalization people have said. Not even close. Most importantly the criminal element has been taken out of the equation in places where it has been legalized. Normal people are no longer having their lives turned upside down for possessing a fucking plant that has psychotropic effects. I would make the same argument with sex work. Just get it over with and make it fucking legal. Keep all the bad criminal shit out of it and arrest the bad actors who break rules use coercion / intimidation and violence to force workers to do things against their will. Collect taxes on it and allow workers access to benefits like everyone else. The year is 2026 I can’t believe people are still having these arguments still.

Profile picture for ilbbaicnl
ilbbaicnl

@Someguyontheinternet A big danger with sex work is how the stigma will affect someone latter in life. The government can' t change that. Although it could stop doing super fucking dumb shit, like putting the names and addresses of people with adult entertainment licenses on the internet. I'm not saying that justifies sex work being illegal. But the people who think it's cringe don't necessarily have bad intentions. Consider that most men who want sex work to be legal still would not be in a committed relationship with a current or former sex worker. Even if it were legal, a lot of parent will still want to burn the school down if they thought their kid had a current or former sex worker as a teacher.

@ilbbaicnl There are always going to be trade offs in life. That’s just how it is. You talk about stigma, if a girl can work legally under an alias she can keep her real name private, stack some cash and pivot to something to else in life later with all the money she has earned. With the way things are now the same girl if she gets busted will have a criminal record that will follow her for life. Ultimately people need to take responsibility for their actions and make informed decisions. I see prohibition as the worse option when you compare it to decrim or legalization. What do they say sunlight is the best disinfectant.
