Political discourse without adjectives

Joe Rogan, who will host Trump on his show Friday, was hosting Shawn Ryan a few episodes ago. The discussed how they avoid talking politics on their podcasts because it never leads any place good. Shawn suggested that the only way to have a real discussion about politics -ideas and ideals- is to do it without adjectives. No "fucking fascists", "ignorant liberals", "deplorables", "communist dirtbags", because those words immediately shut down the recipient's willingness to actively listen and consider arguments on their individual merits. Often feeling attacked, the other party will reactive defensively, counter attack, or deflect if they want to avoid conflict. At any rate, it inhibits discourse and an exchange of ideas. I wonder if we could ever achieve that level of discourse here. We would have to weed out the trolls, of course, but if people would simply ignore them and talk to each other, who knows?
