Planning my next PL trip to S Fl

Now that the holidays are done and I have still have some cash laying around, I am getting the itch to hop a flight to S Fl and spend too much time and money in the Pompano Clubs.

Was thinking the first week of March so my question is around timing. Is anything going on that makes that a bad time? A bit early for Spring Break so I am thinking it’s a good time.

I’ll also fill in the days with golf so any suggestions for courses nearby Pompano? I played the Palm Aire courses last time and want to never play there again. Eagle Trace was nice and I actually got paired up with Darius Butler from Pat McAfee show - he was cool but struggled like all of us on the course lol. I don’t mind driving and/or paying a premium for a nice course.
