Alpine strip club closed by city officials

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Alpine Bar and Gentlemen’s Club in Syracuse was ordered closed Wednesday for failing to comply with a nuisance abatement order, city officials said.

Officials said the long-time strip club on the North Side did not maintain the required number of on-site licensed security guards; did not close by 2 a.m.; did not ensure the premises were cleared of customers by 2:30 a.m.; and did not install security cameras and lighting.
