Sex workers are targeted with a lot of contempt, which I think is the main negative of the occupation. It's a contempt that's driven by counterproductive aspects of human nature. Strippers who have reasonably happy lives get it that the contempt they get is pathetic and not about them. I could see it that they wouldn't see their daughters becoming strippers as the end of the world. Good parents accept it that their kid might not have the aptitude or desire to be a computer programmer or dental hygienist or whatever. Everybody makes trade-offs in picking their occupation. I don't think most strippers, even if they sleep in their car rather than hotels, make enough to pay their kids' way through 4-year college, or stake them in a small business. So that makes it more likely their daughters would see stripping as the best option.
I imagine only the daughters of relatively successful, and therefore, probably good looking mom/strippers would follow in her footsteps, especially if she has her mom’s attractive traits. Probably both mom and daughter are a bit exhibitionist and slutty. So, bottom line, I’m in favor of and getting a boner at the thought.
