    Nin is credited with the following saying. It precisely sums up human nature:
    “We don’t see as things as they are, we see things as we are”.
    The only thing I’d add to it is: the human brain is largely incapable of processing very big numbers.
    Reality will often be subservient to the human nature of filtering from its own perceptions as well its inability to comprehend that one out of one million equals, for all practical purpose, zero.
