He loses half of it to taxes. And he's still a victim of capitalist price gouging

If that were me I think I’d be totally fine with both of those issues, I’d legally change my name, take my 400 million and ride off into the sunset. I’d also think I wouldn’t worry about being a “slave of money or necessity.”

Pretty good incentive to make a good amount of money as opposed to bitching about capitalism on a titty bar website. Money = some degree of freedom. If you think a change in economic systems (capitalism vs socialism) is going to make you more “free” I have some halal pork I’d like to sell you. 🤷🏼♂️

A systemic change would make us free. Treating housing job security viable pensions health care education as basic human rights would completely change society. As would Co op ownership of businesses etc.

An old tradition of dividing up a kill by two hunters in a “fair” way:
One hunter divides the meat into two piles and a second hunter—with his back turned—indicates which pile he wants.
This method motivates the first hunter to divide the spoils as evenly as possible.
In modern civilizations this tradition of dividing fairly the product of work has been lost to the cunning and venal capitalist masters.
“Our civilization is being sacrificed for the opportunity of a very small number of people to continue making enormous amounts of money.
Our biosphere is being sacrificed so that rich people in countries like mine can live in luxury.
It is the sufferings of the many which pay for the luxuries of the few.”
