I thought CA ruled they were employees yet interview club owner referred to them as independent contractors. Anyway, however they got by during COVID lockdowns is how they’ll make do under a strike. However, might be a good time to get OTC phone numbers in case they do strike.

The conflict in these cases usually centers around the fact that club management wants to classify dancers as "independent contractors", but they tend to treat them as employees. Something most labor laws do not permit.

There were strikes before unions with strike funds. How are strippers a special case?

I think it’s the not-so-striking ones that struggle. The hot ones do fine. 😎
