Whatever you think of sex changes for children, the Democrats and Biden administration support for this is truly off the wall. The hyperbole in their statements in support of it and attacks on anyone questioning it, a view that a decade ago would have been almost universal, is next level or multiple next levels.
The whole idea of sex changes for little kids is bizarre enough but the extreme hyperbole being used to attack opponents or skeptics is beyond the norm even for partisan ideologues. There has to be some much much broader or deeper agenda with this whole thing. Nothing else makes sense. Its truly weird on multiple levels.

Mr. Lasso asserts that the goldfish is the happiest animal in the world because it has an eight second memory. One might quibble about the science behind the Lasso character’s assertion, but this line has a profound truth to it, much like Lasso’s apocryphal Whitman quote.
You should cultivate the personality of a goldfish. I recommend you go to the pet store and watch the goldfish for at least two hours. Then go someplace with a mirror. Stare at yourself in that mirror and do exactly what you saw the goldfish do. You will be happier.
