    This 2nd video shows the difference b/w EV and ICE cars:

    1st race is b/w the Tesla Model S plaid EV (1,020 hp), and a new Mustang Shelby 500 GT production car (750 hp)

    2nd race is b/w the Tesla Plaid and a souped-up 1,200 hp Shelby 500 GT

    Generally speaking electric motors will accelerate faster than IC engines of similar specs. I think IC fueled motors will have a higher top speed because of the way they are configured with transmissions and geared axles
