They had been going before the shelter order, in LA, not COI.
Maybe 4 or 5. We have members who patronize them.
There had also been on online forum about them, I think it was called 10free Hostess Clubs.

There is someone here who knows about this. Supposedly there is one of these clubs where the women are bit older and where they have some place they can take you for FS.
This places go back to the 1930's, and there is an interesting book written back then about all of this.

7 places listed above. A couple I am not sure about, but the top two are the main hostess clubs, and known to have the makeout rooms.
Two more of the clubs are more hispanic and probably don't have any place to sit. And then the one is where they have the FS right by option.

ICEE, we have someone on this forum who is intensely familiar with the LA hostess dancing clubs. I am not going to debate this with you, I'm just going to wait until he posts.
Starlight and Fantasy are known to have "couch rooms". These are for watching television. But they are understood to be makeout rooms. This is why the girl's tips double when you take her in there.
This is not without restrictions. There are boundaries. And they have regular security patrols. These places and this tradition goes back to the 1930's. There are accepted bounds, based upon what the cops can reasonably expect to enforce. If given their way, some in local government would probably allow nothing. But there are practical limits as to what can be enforced.
And then on forums I was on the girls were presenting their pictures and attaching words, in ways that made it clear that you were supposed to see her as in a makeout session.
But I am not going to post about this again until our LA hostess club expert weighs in.

No, most of these LA hostess dancing clubs do not have any full service or anything approved of which could be considered a sex act. FIV is not supposed to be going on, and this is why they have security patrols.
There is only one of them which might have a FS capability, but it is only close by, not directly on premises. And it certainly is not Starlight or Fantasy.
As legal practice has defined it, makeout sessions are not in violation of public sex or lewd conduct, and they are not an enforceable violation of the prostitution law.
Sure some people would like to put all the people in jail. But there are practical limits as to what legal interpretations can be enforced.
I will remain silent on this until our known expert on the LA Hostess Clubs posts. I will PM him now.

CA 647-B says "contracting for sex or lewd conduct". But there are still practical limits as to what could be enforced. What some moralists might think could go much further than what our criminal justice establishment would do. These Hostess Clubs have run for a long time. Makeout sessions are pretty much accepted in our culture. No one would try to stop you if it were on the sidewalk in front of the Hostess Club, or a Strip Club. The law has never tried to say that being for "sexual gratification" means that it is prohibited. Its more got to be a "sex act".

These places have been running since the 1930's. Like they say in the forums, it is more about romance than what you find at a strip club.
Not that different from the places which started in Argentina in the 30's, where Eva Peron got her start.
The law is not just words on paper. It is what can practically be enforced, and what is enforced.
Never have they tried to say the makeout sessions are public sex or lewd conduct, or that they constitute prostitution. Icey, you have turned into some kind of a nut case.
And you never pay for acts, just for the time. That money is what allows the girl to be there, instead of working in Walmarts, or for Uber, or Instacart.
You want that.
So best is to pick the one you want, be with her that evening, and then after that you only see her outside.

Yes, so the top two clubs are Fantasy and Starlight. Starlight is more of an Asian run place, but the girls will not usually be Asian. Starlight at least had been the one with the Girl Chamber. You can see them, but they cannot see you. Light inside of it. So you tip the Mamasan to bring your girl out.
Generally more relaxed and more hands on that a Strip Club, and then there are the makeout sessions.
Like a strip club it costs money.
But also like a strip club, best if you pick the girl you plan to be waking up in the mornings with. Can't guarantee that, but the dance floor and the makeout session should be enough to turn any girl to jello.
You get to have fun with her dressed and painted up as you first saw her. But no full service until you can get her outside. Very old fashioned kind of a business.
From their own forums, the girls seem to have a little bit less in the looks dept than stripers. But still, in high heels, makeup and mini dresses. And guys write in reviews about some girls not wearing panties.

ICEY, this Club Fantasy has 113 reviews. My own view of these clubs is influenced by some old forums. They used to have a message board for them. Then it changed to a yahoo group. But now yahoo groups is closed. I do not know if there is any forum now.
On this yahoo group, some of the girls had pictures posted. In these pictures the girls were wearing mini dresses or similar, and high heels and makeup.
As I have seen, only maybe the best 5% of the girls in civvie night clubs are dressed quite like this.
Also, these girls in the pictures had worn things which made it easy to get under their clothes, top and bottom. What they were showing you was how it could be in a dark room makeout session.
Only maybe 1% of the girls in a civvie nightclub really dress so ideally for a makeout session.
ANd then, civvie night clubs do not have darkened rooms for makeout sessions. The overwhelming majority of the women who go there, are not thinking about being in an onsite makeout session.
Sure, it could happen, but the women are not planning on that.
So the LA hostess bar, these two, are going to be a different kind of experience. And again, I am reading reviews, and also relating it to the words an pictures on those old forums, and these included pictures of some of the women, as they would look when a guy was getting under their clothes and undergarments.
I think these places are really interesting, in someway similar to what is being reported about the TJ HK Bar.

That is exactly what you would want to find in the makeout room. That goes way beyond anything I have found in civvie night clubs.

These clubs do not have darkened makeout rooms, and few of the women are expecting any such makeout session.
In most civvie situations the women dress so as not to look slutty, to win the approval of other women.
But based on pictures and descriptions, even women dance hostess posting, they dress at these clubs like they would never dress anywhere else.
They dress to have an effect on men, they are competing with other women to get results. This is what makes it different.
And this is why Deja Vu is such an excellent strip club name. Being in the presence of the women conducting themselves like that, competing for getting results from men, is a primal experience.
So what they are saying about Starlight and Fantasy in Los Angeles sounds similar.
