I'll be passing through Detroit this weekend, just a few quick questions

There's a lot of Michiganders on here, so I'd figured I'd just make a thread instead of pming a bunch of people. I've been reading up on a lot of the reviews and narrowed down where I want to hit. Also checked out shailynn's guide https://tuscl.net/article.php?id=31263 Don't have a ton of time to do a deep dive on the clubs there but I could definitely do some drive by strip clubbing. Just a few quick question if you guys don't mind.

1. What's going on with the Coliseum? I thought that was one of the big ones in Detroit but recent reviews like in the last 3 years or so have been awful. Like nobody works there. I'm probably not gonna go due to that, but I originally thought that was the must see spot.

2. Detroit metro seems like a great area for in and out in 30 minutes and your out 300 bucks but still had a great time. I'm down to do that but I would still like to stretch it out a little bit. I don't have too too much fuck it money on this trip. What are some good clubs in the area when it comes to getting good LD's?

3. Anything to say about the downtown clubs Bouzouki and Legends in general as compared to the suburban ones? I might be doing other stuff downtown and might be convenient for me. Did I feel like I had the full Detroit experience if I spent two days in Inkster? You know what I mean?

4. I'm going through the reviews and honestly the only ones I think I gotta hit are Landing Strip and Flight Club. Maybe you guys are tough on your local clubs as most are I think but damn a lot of bad reviews or just clubs to have fun with 4's, that's not really what I'm into.

5. Where's the go to food spot? Hit me.

Thanks

Flight Club, Landing Strip, BTs Dearborn. That seems to be where it's at - in this current moment. They are all outside of Detroit proper and appear to not be as scrutinized as the clubs downtown and up on 8 Mile. You could also try Criket and the dumps - Henry and Bogarts.

When it Detroit I always have to have a crappy late night taco from Del Taco.

Nothing special - but this is in the area of the clubs mentioned above. I'm sure others have better recommendations on dining

I second Shailyn's recommendations for Flight Club, Landing Strip, BT's and Criket, in that order based on typical talent and higher to lower cost.

Do not waste your time on Coliseum or any of the formerly great clubs on 8 Mile (e.g., Players). The downtown clubs have a reputation for attractive women but, to my knowledge no extras (someone with more recent knowledge of the downtown clubs please chime in).

The food at the Flight Club is quite good.

Are you staying downtown? I can recommend places to eat in downtown because that's my typical hangout spot and I used to live next to Comerica Park.

Bouzouki reopened last week but it is dead. They had three dancers there last Friday and the club was mostly empty throughout the evening. Their food comes from the restaurants attached to the same building. The food is not ideal for health conscious individuals and it's extremely greasy.

Legends is fun. We are allowed to do dances, but we can't take our tops off and we can't fully straddle any customers. They're not formal lap dances that count toward our tip out, so we can set our own prices on them. It does get relatively busy on Fridays and Saturdays. I was there this past Saturday and the third floor was the most crowded of all of them. If you're looking for a booth, you should call the club the day before to reserve it because they go fast. If you're going there during a weekday, you don't have to worry about a crowd or not finding a booth. Legends also has decent food. If you are strictly looking for extras though, I would not suggest either of those clubs. Or any of the clubs on 8 Mile for that matter. Players on 8 Mile is the sister club to Legends and their food is slightly better than Legends.

I will be at Flight Club this Friday and Saturday. On Friday, they are opening a giant tent outside so patrons can drink past Michigan's curfew time. I don't know if there's an extra charge or anything like that. All I know is this big tent is opening up on Friday for outdoor drinking. I was told they're going to try to put poles up in the tent, too.

I feel Landing Strip is a little less expensive than Silver Criket in regards to VIP. You are not obligated to tip the bouncer at all, while at Silver Criket you have to buy a wristband or something. Criket has better food than Landing Strip in my opinion. Landing Strip has better looking girls who are, from what I have witnessed in the locker rooms of both clubs, more hygienic than those at Criket. The VIP rooms at Landing Strip are very dim though. I would recommend for you to keep your money in your back pocket in those rooms and also be aware that it's so dim that you might have a hard time making out what bills you're counting.

Landing and Flight have mandatory valet parking. Criket has free parking. Bouzouki does not have parking, but you can park at Greektown Casino for free across the street from the club. Legends has optional valet parking, but I would not recommend it. It's about $16 and they park staff, dancer, and customer cars either in the alley way between the club and St Andrews Hall, or on the street. The valet company that runs through them used to rent parking spaces in the parking lot across the street, but they no longer do. Regardless, if you go downtown for anything, I would suggest parking in the Greektown Casino for free. Or if you're on the other side of downtown, MGM casino parking is free as well. However I would not recommend walking around that part of downtown because it is not the best area to be in. Anywhere in the Greektown district is fine though. Actually, anywhere on the east side of Woodward Ave in downtown is fine. Downtown is basically cut in half by Woodward. The west side of Woodward can get a little iffy here and there during the day, but definitely don't recommend that side at night.

National Coney Island restaurants are kind of a Detroit staple. There are two next door to each other in downtown that are famous for being on some food show or something. But you can find restaurants all over Metro Detroit via a Google search. If you're a health nut, we have a local chain called Beyond Juicery. There's also a really great vegan and vegetarian restaurant in downtown called Seva.

If you have any other specific questions, message me or something because I'm probably not going to read any replies here.

Landing Strip and Flight Club. Both are near the airport. The Flight Club has good food, although it's a little overpriced except for the sandwiches and burgers. The Flight Club is known for the best looking dancers in Detroit, but the Landing Strip has had several very cute girls in the afternoon lately. Dances and "dances" take place in private VIP rooms in both clubs.

As for local food, Tubby's subs are the best I've ever had. Coney Island restaurants are all over. Get a coney island hot dog (hot dog covered with chili and raw onions).

Maybe if you’re really good jackslash will invite you over for his world famous lasagna. Best in Macomb county.

The Detroit Institute of Art is a great museum too but, if I had to pick one to spend time at it's The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn just off Michigan not too far from BT's. Where else can you see the original Weinermobile at?

I rolled in kind of late tonight. Apparently Landing Strip closes at 11 and then I got rejected at Flight Club based on dress code. I had a designer t shirt on, nice jeans. I got into 4Play in LA with less. I was sort of surprised by that and I didn’t have a button down in my car so fuck it. And then I tried to go to Bouzaki downtown but there were multiple police barricades by the casino and I literally could not get to this fucking place. I said fuck it all. It wasn’t meant to be. I’ll find a use for the money saved. I’m hindsight I should’ve rushed out of Chicago to come here, I feel like Chicago strip clubs get too much hate, there not of this world but I’m able to have a good time at some of them and make it work for me. Another night then. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pav2f4b-1Z…

You mean all time or just this weekend? Just this weekend none I was doing civie touristy stuff all day no clubs but I thought about it. Admiral Theater had poor recent reviews but I like checking out new spots regardless. But I opted instead of taking in the night there I bolted for Motown and took the L.

@Muddy yeah FC dress code is very hit or miss with enforcement. They have an absurd hatred for Tshirts so I always wear collared shirts just in case. I've seen them crackdown on jeans as well. They're so concerned about "the wrong crowd". Bummed your trip was a bust. Was looking forward to seeing your reviews
