2 dead, 3 hospitalized after shooting outside Club Erotica in McKees Rocks

Two men were killed and three other men were wounded by gunfire early Friday morning outside of Club Erotica in McKees Rocks, Allegheny County police said.

The shootings were reported at 2:34 a.m. in the 800 block of Island Avenue, according to police, who were asked to assist with the investigation. According to Club Erotica’s website, the strip club is open until 4 a.m.

First responders found five victims with gunshot wounds when they arrived, police said. Police did not say whether the victims were patrons of the strip club.

Two of the shooting victims were pronounced dead at scene, according to police.

Three other men were transported to area hospitals for treatment. No information was available about their condition. A portion of Island Avenue near the club was closed until about 7 a.m. when police packed up and left the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the County Police Tip Line (833) ALL-TIPS or (833) 255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.

Ugly; went to that club and the one down the street one time, not the best of areas for sure.

Yes, this is not the “best” areas of Pittsburgh. This is away from the center of downtown closer to Heinz field. Man I can’t remember the name of the other club that longball is talking about but at one time it had the best looking dancers in Pittsburgh even though the club was a dump. Kinda like a shittier version of Bourbon Street in Phoenix but nowhere near the mileage.

Yeah, it's called "True Diamonds" here on TUSCL but, it used to be called something else; like walking into your uncles shitty dump of an old house.

It’s like the owners were building a club, they have the plywood down for the flooring and the walls, then did about 40% of the drywall, and threw a bar in near the stage and said “eh this is good enough.”

I think the cover was something like $20 which also included all the draft beer you wanted. Which I hope you like draft beer because that was all you were going to get unless you wanted a Red Bull or bottled water.

When I was young, I worked for a finance company that did automotive fleet leasing, and they had an office near Pittsburgh - in a town Harmervillle. I was looking to troll the Pittsburgh clubs, but they seemed to be in very sketchy locations. Instead of taking my sweet demo model Pontiac Bonneville SSE to one of those places, I hit an otb place called Ladbrokes which was an unusual experience to say the least!

The area may have gone downhill in the past 25 years, or maybe it has improved? But it still sounds sketchy and rough.

@ Shai - I looked back.. it used to be called Silky's.... unlike the neighborhood.

LB beat me to it... going far enough back in time it was Silky's. Nice looking dancers there but super sketcky. LDs were not that special IMO. The room monitor at Silky's stared at you the whole time.

I gave up on Club E a long long time ago. Very visible gang activity within a block or two. High prices and low low mileage. Not at all surprised by OP knowing the area... but it would be an important distinction if it was 5 gang bangers or club patrons or some combination.
