Black Friday 2020

shailynnThey never tell you what you need to know.

Like everything else, what a disaster in 2020!

I can't even begin to tell you how angry Juice was when I pulled up to Best Buy today and told him he had to take his tent out of the parking lot because Black Friday 2020 was cancelled.

The one good thing about this whole fiasco is at least employees of these stores can actually have the day off and stay at home for Thanksgiving - I believe most of those stores are closed for Thanksgiving this year.

I'm anxious to see how the sales do during this period which will give us a better picture of how the economy is really doing.

Full disclosure - wasn’t that a Cracker Barrel parking lot?

From what I remember - Juice was camped out there as a political protest because they banned him after he broke 5 of their rocking chairs...

No, not Cracker Barrel! Much too high class for juice. It was most likely a Waffle House .....😜

If it was Waffle House - Juice would have gotten in real trouble for sitting on the milk crates - and rendering them useless.

I hope there's no stimulus ever, tired of supporting the despicable democratic/commei party base.

I’m guessing folks think Black Friday is racist because of the use of black?

They are wrong, as it has nothing to do with race. This is the start of holiday shopping, and the retailers are generally running at a loss (or in the red) until the holiday shopping season begins - and then they start to become profitable (and run in the black).

I guess it could be called green Friday - as there’s lots of money spent - and cash is green? It seems stupid to be upset over something when you don’t understand the derivation of the term.
