Whites, and especially male whites, are a small and rapidly declining minority in California. Yet we are about to pass Prop 16 to bring back overt hardcore quota discriminstion against them.
Instead of giving whites the special rights normally accorded to a minority population we are going to re-institutional legal discrimination against them.
Its mind-boggling.
What's mind boggling is your obvious butthurtness about losing all of your sense of entitlement since others can now have a shot at the spoils, not just you and your white male buddies. Poor baby! Wahhhhhhhhhhh!
This isn't about "fairness" - everyone is open to government contracts under the current law - this is about racial-quotas at best but it's actually more about racial preferencing and coming up w/ laws made to advantage advantage one race over the other, by law.
The federal government for example is already 18% black, which is greater than the % of the black U.S. population (fedweek.com )
Prop 16 is just a way to legally discriminate against a particular race and try to paint it as "equality" - only in California (but will likely come to a country near you if the Dems get in power)
If this does pass - perhaps it will also open the door for "equity" in the NFL and the NBA (sarcasm) - if one just wants to go by #s, then there's obvious discrimination in these two leagues.

So basically the San Diego school district has been "discriminating" for decades and apparently singling out blacks and giving them worse grades (unfairly so it seems) - and by extension they have also been discriminating against whites by giving them more bad grades than Asians - I guess this needs to stop also - talk about moving-the-goalpost and lowering-of-the-bar
