Nobody rational is happy Mr. Floyd is dead. The reality was he was high as fuck with a fatal level of fentanyl in his blood. His lungs were 2-3x size of what they were supposed to be. The police should have left him on the ground and let him carry on until he got it out of his system, but thatās also one gigantic mofo and it doesnāt help the police are getting filmed and screamed at while theyāre trying to wrangle a dude the size of Lebron. So it was bad policing, but that doesnāt mean police suck. Quite frankly, what they need is more training and a more rigorous program before they hit the streets. Defunding is just going to make it worse and increase black on black crime.
