Two people are facing charges after a meeting for sex turned into a robbery and shooting of a Warren man.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Daniel Wargo, 21 of Southgate, and Summer Desjardin, 24 of Greenwood Township, were arraigned Wednesday, April 29, in Macomb County’s 37th District Court on charges including armed robbery, Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer said. Wargo’s six charges include assault with intent to murder.

Police were called about 10:40 p.m. Sunday to the 2000 block of Jeanie Court in Warren for a reported shooting where they found a 22-year-old Warren man sitting on the floor incapacitated with a gunshot wound to his torso.

An investigation indicated Desjardin and the man met on Facebook and had arranged for her to visit for sex, Dwyer said.

Police believe after Desjardin entered the home, her boyfriend, Wargo, came in with a handgun and announced a robbery and shot the Warren man after he refused to cooperate.

The victim was in stable condition at Detroit Receiving Hospital on Wednesday, Freep reports.

Wargo is charged with assault with intent to murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of possessing a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possessing a firearm as a felon. He was given a $1 million cash or surety bond.

Desjardin, who is charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, was given a $250,000 cash or surety bond.

Both are set for a probable cause conference on May 12 and a preliminary examination on May 19.

I'm surprised by this story. It doesn't say she's a stripper.

Oh how I miss working in the ER and ICU at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Such a stellar clientele.
