Longer dating does not guarantee that she will do well in that strange realm of the Royal Family. Diana did not take to it.

Meghan is divorced and is older than Harry. Seems unlikely that they would ever really accept her. Also half Afro-American.

Harry might not have wanted to live in that world either. Meghan is likely seeing the same things which Diana saw.

Charles is kind of a strange guy, a product of that world.

The Queen comes out of a world of duty and obligation, a world which does not exist anymore. And then coming through the war, people still look to her for leadership. I don't think it will continue to be this way any more.

And then there is the issue of the northern region of the Republic of Ireland. I feel that the Queen is an obstacle, and a huge influence on UK politics.

She appeared with Reagan and Thatcher, this endorsing the economic fraud of Supply Side.

I don't know these people, just saying how it looks from my vantage point.
