Is this sustainable?

So I'm new here, and to SC in general. I always give that caveat.
But I've gotta say... Three out of the four trips to different clubs I've taken have at some point involved an offer for extras, which is surprising to me. I always thought as Chris rock had taught, "nothing happens in the VIP room." So what the hell, they can't be giving out extras like candy like this and it be sustainable. Not that I'm complaining, but word gets out yeah? Sooner or later LE finds out or something right?

Yes. In some places it’s normal although it could be good luck.

Never mind. I thought this was main. board. I have no idea about this particular club.

Boomer nevertheless this applies elsewhere too, so thanks for the chime in. Appreciated.

With the current issues regarding homelessness and public attitudes towards police disregarding petty crime (or really almost any property crime), in Seattle. I doubt anyone in an elected office or appointed directly by someone in an elected office wants a strip club sting hitting the front page of the local paper.

It won't be sustainable if you keep talking about it!

( I don't think they are using this, but look at all the organ pipes and the loud speakers )

Strip clubs are often governed at the local/city-level - more often than not it seems SCs allow as much mileage as the city allows (usually b/c the city looks the other way or doesn't wanna bother w/ enforcement) - thus how long it can be sustained often depends on the political -winds - some reasons cities go after clubs:

+ low-hanging fruit - a local DA or mayor uses them as a way to show "they are tough on crime" and "are cleaning things up" - also plays to the recent human-trafficking hysteria where certain powers-to-be wanna make the public believe that every woman that is in the sex trade it's b/c she's being forced/coerced/trafficked - no one is gonna come to the strip-club's defense when they are being targeted by local powers-to-be and why they are low-hanging-fruit for local politicians to score cheap political-points

+ things get too egregious in the clubs
    * an underaged dancer is found to be dancing at a club - this will cause a big fuss and often affect the local scene as authorities may clamp-down either to put every club on notice, or to appease the public "that they're doing something about it"
    * heavy drug trafficking can also cause local LE to get involved and clamp-down
    * too much violence (repeated shootings; fights; stabbings; etc)

+ $$$ - gentrification/development/redevelopment - an area may be targeted for redevelopment and heavy-investment and SCs don't fit into the new/future vision of the area

^ thus it can go on for years, or change at any time

Per my limited knowledge of the Seattle scene - seems it was kinda off-the-chain in the 2000s, then there seemed to be a clamp-down in the late-2000s and things seemed to be stale for a few years and seems they have bounced back recently - TUSCLer "Club_Goer" in the past kinda described the issues that occurred in Seattle in the late-2000s and why things kinda went downhill for a while (AFAIK).

Also - it seems the progressive thing to do these days is for LE to go after the custies as progressive cities see the custies "as the source of the problem" (apparently a woman is too-tempted and/or too-weak to say no to P4P) - I'm not from Seattle but had heard Seattle was one of the cities employing this model of going after custies and not prosecuting the women - IDK what the current state is, and it seemed as if perhaps the effort was targeted at the escort scene and focused on possible human-trafficking and/or under-aged girls; but I would not be surprised if guys just looking for straight-up P4P may have gotten swept-up in this, but IDK.
