I hadn't seen them recently but I saw 2 girls at Follies yesterday wearing them. 1 white girl and 1 black. I got dances from the white girl and asked her about them. She said that she didn't know if it was a new trend. She just saw them on line and bought them.

The ones I saw being worn were at Viet Coffee. Led flashing did depend on girl moving, suggesting the use of pressure transducers. Actually quite impossible not to look at her as she walks.

I remember seeing this thread here a couple days ago and wondering exactly when it was I last saw lighted stripper shoes. I then go to my closest strip club last night and one of the 4 dancers they had was wearing them. I was probably going to pass on her anyway, but that sealed it. They're still awful.
@ime- After much research, LA Gear is sold exclusively at Forever 21. Just looking at their online catalog, I would guess strippers spend a large chunk of cash at Forever 21.
