I haven't started a single thread since 2015. But in that time we've had thousands of threads about politics. For example, the day Barr delivered his spin on the Mueller report, @Dugan started a well-populated thread about the "failure" of the Mueller investigation. Only two weeks ago @Flag started a thread about the same topic and everyone piled in. No complaints from @Shadow. Mueller is life-long Republican and a war hero -- but lets not worry about facts.
But yesterday @Shadow couldn't take it any longer when someone started a thread about whether a sitting president can be indicted. It would take @Shadow a microsecond to ignore any thread under the new rules. But, instead, he insists on bitching like an old man about opinions that upsets him.
@Shadow's not complaining about the existence of political threads; he's bitching about people with different opinions.
@Founder should lay down the law if he doesn't want any political threads. It's his board. Otherwise put the thread on ignore and stop whining.
Politics makes for good threads and high posting levels. If you say you are non-political and don't care about politics, that's because you support the Right.

I looked at the lyrics. The song is some sort of vapid redneck anthem.
