I had a lot of pain in my leg due to over-exercising and aspirin did not help. I went to the medicine cabinet in the master bedroom's bathroom where I had a number of old pain prescriptions for such things as past dental surgery.
I picked up a bottle labeled "Oxycodone" and shook it. Silence. I twisted off the cap. The bottle was empty. I shook the other bottles: Valium, Tylenol 3, Vicodin. Not a sound.
Who would have been in my bathroom and stolen my medicines? Strippers. I haven't touched those bottles in years, and dozens of strippers have been in my bathroom in that time. I can't accuse any one dancer but I strongly suspect an old favorite who became addicted to heroin. But it did not have to be an addict. Strippers sell prescription pills to each other. I had never thought to lock up medicines.
Has anyone else had strippers steal their medicines?

last commentOxycodone has a street value of $30-50 per pill. Your stripper sounds like one I knew. She started out abusing painkillers, then switched over to heroin at some point because it was cheaper. Then she ended up shooting herself in the head.
But to answer your question, I've never let a stripper into my residence, so I have not had one steal my meds.

I take oxycodone daily for back pain so the thought has occurred to me but so far I have not had any problem with theft. I do know one dancer at my favorite club that knows I take it and keeps asking my to bring her some. It won't happen. I know how strict the rules are for obtaining this RX and I would never give any to a stripper. Ibuprofen in high doses will work as well for me but it raises my blood pressure. I hope that some day legal medical pot might be available to me.

^ it should be soon - I think medical pot is about to be legalized in FL - we have a new governor and although he's a Republican he's young (40) so he's fairly progressive on social issues (and has a hot wife also).
They should just make it recreationally legal nationally and be done with it.

^ Medical marijuana has been legal in Fla for a while now, I don’t think this new guy had anything to do with it.

^ not sure of the details - I think the new law means you can smoke it for medical reasons where maybe b/f it had to be used in a non-smoking form that perhaps didn't have the ingredient that made you high - I would have to look up the details

Papi,
My SO could be prescribed medical pot, but isn't what they sell for medicinal purposes sort of neutered?

Papi, medicsl marijuana has been legal, but our last gov made it illegal to smoke. New gov struck down that provision, but the next problem is that many cities and counties are passing ordnances prohibiting dispensaries. That will mean msny more court battles for Morris & Morris.

Possession of cannibis oil has actually been legal in Georgia for a couple of years, but only for certain conditions specified by the legislature (yes our legislature actually felt they were competent to practice medicine for some strange reason), but importation or manufacture within the state is still illegal. How stupid is that?

My understanding is that Cannibis Oil is Cannabidiol is CBD is snake oil. It's marketed as a cure all, but its effects are largely placebo. Simply put: it won't get you high.

Doctorevil - you are correct. I have looked into it for back pain that I have been treated for, for years and if opioids can be used then cannibus oil cannot even be considered. Now I am not about to OD on my RX for Hydrocodone but there appears to be an epidemic of people dying from opioid use.
