One man was injured after someone began shooting at a North Side strip club overnight, according to San Antonio police.
Officers say a man opened fire on XTC Cabaret, on the 2000 block of Sable Lane, about 3 a.m. Sunday morning, hitting another man who was standing by the front door.
It is unknown if the victim was the intended target, or why the gunman began shooting. Police at the scene say the shooter was across the street from the strip club when he began shooting. The building was struck several times, but no one else was injured, according to police.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in state condition. The shooter fled on foot but police say they believe he later got into a vehicle.
