Opa-locka shuts down Klub24

It's been a soap opera b/w this club and the city - it's a small poor city with a history of corruption - I imagine a big club like that will be able to grease enough palms

I imagine that the problem was that it was just too flagrant an in your face.

It's the same ownership as the Booby Traps. I still can't figure out just how deep those pockets are, but I agree with Papi, I'm surprised they couldn't just grease a few palms, especially in that little city.

For w/e reason Opa Locka seems anti-SCs and requires city council approval to open a SC - seems Klub 24 tried to get around this by dealing directly w/ someone in the code-enforcement office vs the city council.
