A 27-year-old is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times outside a strip club in Midtown, Atlanta police said.

The shooting occurred about 9:38 p.m. outside Club Platinum, Atlanta police Officer Lisa Bender said. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.


Police said the suspect left the scene.

No other details were released.

    Is that the dayshift version of a 2amer? Instead of bad things happening after close it's bad things happening after shift change.

    This totally validates what I said four days ago about whether it's safe to go to a club after 12:30am if it closes at 2am!!!

    In hindsight, I should have set my target for a short at 9:38pm, but still spotted this trend while other TUSCLers were focused on 2am!

    Yeah, while you were there being a good guy, not causing trouble someone fucks up outside and kills one of us. Sheesh, gonna have to stop clubbing out of fear of imminent death. NOT !!!
