A recent review tuscl.net for one of my fav clubs recounts a better than typical with a stripper encounter with a shot girl.
Assuming the encounter is factual (including the part about her being hot), what I don't get is:
If you're willing to dance naked and blow a guy in VIP why not just be a dancer? Shot girls usually don't get any attention until after all the dancers are busy, so they have more nights where they don't make squat.

Shot girls might prefer not to be dancers, because i don't think they pay the same fees as the strippers. So they might still make more money that they would dancing. They also can honestly call themselves servers instead of stripper/whores which might be a big deal to them psychologically although in this case they aren't fooling anyone.

@just oh, yeah, there was one petite shot girl at Oasis for a while that was super hot (to me) and could dance sexy better than any other dancer in the place. She was a little thick, and probably had self body image issues that kept her from being a dancer. At that time, I didn't know shot girls could even do VIPs, so I would have at least asked her about it.

The review has a lot of inconsistencies so I'm getting a strong order of BS and possibly "let me write some shit up and get my free VIP".
So according to him Atlanta has a ton of great SCs and he lives there but he doesn't hit them often - if you live there and think they are great then one would think he'd hit them.
AFAIK Oasis is a low-mileage club - so the dude shows-up, agrees to VIP w/o any specific details ironed-out upfront, and gets a BJ, from a non-dancer, in a low-mileage club

People have described front room makeout and BBBJ sessions with 2x shot girls at a time.
People have described clubs where girls appoint themselves as shot girls, freelancers. Very likely that there is not much such girls wouldn't do.

Joc, thanks for posting the follow up question. I didn't want to call pure BS because I had a waitress at Follies provide a similar experience a few years back. She had been switching back and forth a couple of between dancier and waitress over a period of a year.
To Papi's points, there were several flags in the review. I also get concerned when folks get that specific, either specifically calling the name, or in this case the shot girl because there is probably only one or two that would fit the description. To your question though...it is the bizarre world of strip clubs so who knows?
