Celebrity Nude Pics Easy For Hackers To Obtain

Vanessa Hudgens is still reeling from the release of more nude photos earlier this week — but they weren't leaked to the media from a jilted ex-boyfriend. Hudgens, along with 50 other female celebs, was hacked by a group of computer punks, the FBI said.
Oddly enough, the group of hackers isn't doing this for money; they're doing it just for fun. Now, the FBI is closing in on the purported leader of the ring – 18-year-old Josh Holly. Holly was last questioned by the FBI in connection with the release of sexy Miley Cyrus photos in 2008.
Other celebs targeted include Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson and Ali Larter, according to TMZ.
Getting this info is not as hard as you think, at least not for hackers.
“A lot of the necessary information is not very difficult to obtain,†Beth Jones, a senior threat researcher, told ABC News. “With Twitter or with celebrities' personal websites, you can figure out what their email accounts are, especially Web-based email accounts.â€
“From there, you can go to ‘forgot my password,'†Jones said. “Unfortunately, a lot of people use very easy-to-guess security questions, like their mother's maiden names or their pet's names. All of that is easy to find with a Google search.â€
Yikes! We're sorry these celebs were violated, but this gives us a good reminder for our own online lives: Don't take photos that you don't want others to see!
