At one time or another we've all read stories about the inseparable, loving elderly married couple. They die within hours of each other because their love was so intense that the remaining spouse simply couldn't survive without their soul mate. Maybe that happens occasionally but this story seems to describe a more common situation among elderly married couples:

Judge will give him house arrest as part of his sentence.
House arrest! That is so funny.
If it's a woman judge, she'll give him home confinement with a tether.
If it's a male judge, he'll have sympathy on him and send him to jail...
If he gets house arrest he will rob another bank
