A Rapid City man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following the shooting at a Box Elder strip club early Tuesday morning.
Jarrad Smith, 31, was arrested at a traffic stop on Elk Vale Road about 15 minutes after the 2 a.m. shooting at the Belle Star.
Pennington County Sheriff’s deputies also recovered a gun they believe was used in the shooting.
The shooting victim was taken to Regional Hospital where he underwent surgery for a gunshot wound. His specific condition was not released.

It's been several years since I was in Rapid City and visited the Belle Star. It's a little bit outside of Rapid City. When I was there, it was a decent club considering it's only neighbors are missile silos. Dancers were cute enough but no real mileage that I can recall.
