A few months back I cut out almost all porn for a few weeks. At the time, I felt like it was helping my sex life because fucking strippers became even more exciting. But in hindsight I think it was a worthless exercise. I'm back to watching porn all the time and having the best sex of my life.

I get the fandom bit, but I really have a hard time swallowing (no pun intended) the idea that Porn invented the wheel, that it was the 'big bang' all sexuality came from and that it was the egg before the chicken laid it. I have an even bigger problem believing that girls who are trained to 'mug for the camera' are going to be any more client-oriented than, say, a club dancer who is more about trying to get a custie off.
Porn is great for the Fantasy, but its just IMO a launching pad and is NOT the whole ball of wax. To believe that is to believe that Hollywood is really larger than life- there is no substitution for going out to live it!
Thinking about that article, I think porn presents a kind of fantasized sex. And then some of us are trying to make real something very much like that.
The article made much of two things:
1. Lesbians wearing makeup

Well, I have talked about number 1. I mean there are different types of lesbians. For lack of a better term, there are real lesbians, who have a lesbian lifestyle. And then there are those who only do that when putting on a show for men.
So I don't think the article's criticism is that valid. I mean the movie shows what the makers want to show. They aren't claiming that it is typical of anything or anybody.
Then of 2, my own experience is that women usually cum during FS, and that they usually want and get simultaneous orgasms. I think it just depends on how you do it with them. They like DATY and FIV, but they also respond very well to FS, in my experience. They have a huge capacity.
So I think that article is more a voice of likely lesbian dissent from what the movies show. Kind of like the way Stripper Web usually comes across, just gripping for no reason. Worrying about things which are not worth worrying about.
