Town has a population of 1,547 but has 6 strip clubs listed on TUSCL. Must be a lot of PL's living there. :)

There used to be alot of logging and mining up that way. I am guessing some of the strip clubs used to be whore houses back in the day.
The clubs have survived because there are annual ATV and snowmobile events in Hurley. Also, alot of people in the Midwest own cabins and summer homes in northern Wisconsin.
Yep! Not only have I heard about Hurley, but I've been a patron of a couple clubs.
Now Shadow, don't go thinking these clubs in Hurley are like any other clubs you frequent. You will not have your "corner" or be brandishing any whimsical t-shirts with their funny sayings. This is more local/seasonal clubs and usually people have layers of clothing. It is more suitable as an atmosphere to how SJG puts it, more for conversation.
A couple contacts dances can be had, but don't go there looking for extras or high mileage.
When you live way up there, what is there to do ?? Hurley is very close to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Lots of Finnish people up there, they are tough, tough enough to club.
