WASHINGTON (ABC7) — A man is recovering after a shooting early Friday morning on Connecticut Ave.; north of Dupont Circle.
Police tell us the man was shot in the leg outside of Royal Palace Nightclub, a strip club, between S and R streets.
Officers shut down the roadway to investigate, but reopened around 6 a.m., just in the time for rush hour.
The man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Around DuPont Circle is considered to be a safe area in town. The place where the shooting happened looks like it is a few blocks North.
