DETROIT (WWJ) One person is hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting on Eight Mile Road near the Southfield Freeway in Detroit.
Police said it happened at about 2 a.m. when someone in a Dodge Durango pulled up alongside a Kia and opened fire.
Joey Dillard, who works nearby, has a theory about this morning’s shooting, saying he knows whom he blames for alleged nefarious activity in the area.
“A lot of activity comes from, I’m not going to use their name, but say, a gentlemen’s club down the street,” he said.
No one else was injured, but investigators are still looking for that Durango.

When I watch the news tonight here in Detwaa, I'll pass along the latest police theories. This story was on the early morning news as much as for the cops shutting down the road for the investigation as it was for the shooting. This is Detroit, a large old city with too much random violence. We'll see if it involves one of the several strip clubs on 8 Mile Road.
