Mitchell Brothers pricing question

2nd booth from the stage
Can any of you guys shed some light on this? Mitchell Brothers O'Farrel Theater (MBOT) in San Francisco used to charge $60 for a private room, and then you worked out the cost with the girl for how much fun you wanted to have. From what I'm reading here, now the room cost alone is $160. I've got to assume that the girls get a cut of that.

So have you guys found that the additional cost to the girl has gone down? By $100? Or is it all just $100 more expensive now?

I haven't been to MBOT in a while, just want to know what to expect. Or should I just head down to Crazy Horse? Thanks.

I haven't been there since the prices went up. You might head to the local forum (Nightshift.co with no "m" at the end, to to the strip club forum) and ask there. The girls do get a cut in some kind of wacky scheme that I don't remember -- like, they only get a small cut of their first dance, then a bigger cut of their second dance, and then after that they start getting the full $100 back and it's as if the booth cost $60.

If you're planning to save up for a trip to MBOT it will take a lot of cash, because you'll first need invest in a working time machine if you want to have a good time.

Totally agree with Meur and desert. Everything in San Francisco was better 15 years ago. Had some amazing times at New Century when it was an actual theater setup with booths behind the stage. Now, as far as I am concerned, no point in visiting any SF clubs (unless you are employed in bay area pulling in $500 k). If you are not from the area, you will be deeply underwhelmed and blown away at the expense. Much sadness.

Some clubs live off of their name and old glory (e.g. Scores New York, etc) but are not longer worth it for the hardcore SCer.

Dude its $60 to get in the door now.
When I was there 15+- years ago it was $20 cover during the day and $40 in the evening. I was in San Fran last year and I did not bother to club after reading the reviews I decided the drive downtown was to much of a hassle as I was only in the bay area one night and not staying downtown.
While everything still may be on the menu it may be cheaper to hire an escort service and you would likely get better "service". Most escorts alot enough time to satisfy and don't hurry you as you have bought at least an hour of their time.

20 years ago, there was good argument to be made that MBOT was the best club in the entire country. The mighty have definitely fallen... the place collapsed catastrophically after they lost the stripper lawsuit in, what was it, 2007?

The problem, of course, is lack of options, to wit: "Or should I just head down to Crazy Horse? ". CH is a mostly-limited-extras place (by limited, I mean, mostly HJ only, and on nightshift, many girls are no-extras), with crapshoot quality (you should very much go in with an "all I need is one" attitude, since you might only find one you're attracted to).
