You remember Craig Kilborn, don't you? In the early 90's he became the best (and funniest) ESPN Sportscenter anchor ever. It seemed longer, but he was only on for 3 short years.
And remember he was the original host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central. Before Jon Stewart made it a classic.
And remember he was the "good" host of "The Late Late Show" sandwiched between bad hosts -- Tom Snyder and Craig Ferguson.
Then he abruptly took early retirement.
