How to get even with a strip club.

PEABODY, MA - Maybe someone spent too much on tips and didn’t get what he wanted at a Peabody strip club on a Saturday night.

Around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday morning, a call came in from a man named Donald stating he was going to bomb the Golden Banana strip club on Rte. 1 in Peabody in 20 minutes.

Peabody police cleared the building and a North Andover canine unit was called in to search the building.

The search of the building did not turn up a bomb, and the threat was determined to be unfounded.

There have been numerous bomb threats phoned into high schools in Massachusetts and Rhode Island over the past month, but gentleman’s clubs had heretofore been able to escape the rash of bomb threats.
