Hi, I'm new to this forum and wanted to know if anyone has been to Follies in Atlanta. I plan on going New Year's Eve. I've heard some great things about this club and wanted to learn a few pointers about the club before I go. Any info would be helpful.

I've been there a few times. The most important thing to remember is that it is actually 2 clubs. The day shift is mixed with high mileage. After 8PM it becomes a black club with a lot of booty shaking and rain making and mileage drops.

I wouldn't go near the place on New years Eve.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely not be going on New Year's Eve then. Perhaps sometime after the new year.

Understatement of the year: Shadowcat: "I've been there a few times."

jack,

"Understatement of the year:" And that covers damn near the entire year!

sc could be considered a major investor in the club. At the least, an excellent ambassador. :)

If you are into white chicks; go b/f 8 pm – if you are into black chicks; go after 8 pm (although there is enough mix in both shifts; about 30% AA on day and about 30% white on eves) – I've usually had a better time in dayshift.

SCs are too crazy during holidays – if you want to go for the party; then holiday trip is ok; if you want a quality SC visit; then avoid holidays; but if you have nothing better to-do; then give it a shot.

Dances at Follies are $10 – VIP is a $52 for the room fee plus the dancer tip – some regs seem to pay $100 (or just a bit more) for dancer VIP tip but some dancers may want b/w $150 and $200.

Place gets packed so best to get there early (b/f 4 pm on dayshift and b/f 11 pm on nightshift).

There are 2 types of VIP rooms – a single person/couple room - and a communal room – if you want “extra attention” then iron out the details (what and for how much) with the dancer before heading to VIP and choose the single-person VIP if you want absolute privacy.
