NORWALK — Police waged a large scale operation Tuesday night, netting at least 11 arrests at a Norwalk strip club.
The Office Cafe, a strip club at 201 Liberty Square, was the target of the raid just after 9 p.m. Charges ranged from possession of narcotics to prostitution and the promoting prostitution.
"Yes, we had a large investigation with warrants served yesterday evening," said Police Chief Thomas Kulhawik in an e-mail to The Hour.
According to police logs at least 11 were arrested, and are expected to be arraigned Wednesday morning in Norwalk Superior Court.
Among those arrested for prostitution related charges were Dylan Pascale, 28, of Norwalk, Cassandra Bryan, 35, of Mount Vernon, NY, Gene Morrell, 60, of Norwalk, Ashley Ouellet, 26, of Bridgeport, and Emily Soto, 23, of Bridgeport.
Wednesday morning The Office was closed, and calls placed to the business were not returned.
The Office is Norwalk's last remaining gentlemen's club, and was previously known as Mermaids.

Based on their reviews it was a very unlikely place for a bust.

The focus of their efforts was actually the drugs. Apparently the bartender, certain patrons and some of the girls were selling coke. I guess in all of the undercover operations, they just happened to get a few girls to make p4p offers too. I highly doubt that any serious sucking and fucking was going on ITC - there are no private vip areas and the tiny LD area is wide open and always has a guy standing in it.
