El Paso Police have made a pair of arrests in the beating and stabbing of two men at an East El Paso strip club.

19-year-old Francisco Moreno and 22-year-old Ruben Anzures were taken into custody by police gang unit investigators.

Authorities responded to a call of a fight at Jaguars nightclub on Gateway West near Lee Trevino Drive just before 1 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived on the scene, they were told the parties involved had all left.

Later in the morning, police were called to University Medical Center. That's where 20-year-old Angel Gonzalez told officers he and another man, who was undergoing surgery, were beaten by several people and attacked with beer bottles

Gonzalez suffered wounds to his face, according to investigators. The other victim, Francisco Castillo (age not disclosed), had stab wounds on his neck and other injuries to his face, police said. Both are expected to survive.

Around 4 p.m. Friday, a SWAT team and gang investigators executed search and arrest warrants at the East El Paso homes of the two suspects. Moreno was taken into custody at a house on the 10100 block of Singapore Avenue. Anzures, police said, was found at a convenience store near his home on the 2700 block of Red Sails Drive.

Both are charged with engaging in organized criminal activity-aggravated assault for the attack on Gonzalez. Their bonds were set at $120,000.

Police said additional charges are pending for the assault on Castillo.

If you lived in El Paso, you would want to stab yourself.

That's funny as hell @jackslash. I do not live there but overall find it an ok place.

But obviously they cannot tell time over there. They were an hour early for a 2 am'er.

This is actually one of the nicer clubs in the area. Not one you would normally feel unsafe in.

Was this the West Texas town of El Paso? Formerly Rosie's Canteena?

Was it a fight over a girl named Celina? Wicked Felina?

(Anyone who knows the song by Marty Robbins might get this. lol)
